She becomes the embodiment of death's essence, the sorrowful mourner, and the chilling breath of Winter. For those honoring their Scottish ancestry, she rises beyond the confines of mere fantasy to assume the mantle of a divine figure, symbolizing the sanctity of the threshold between life and death. Cloaked in a cascade of raven feathers, adorned with a white skeletal mask, and standing tall and gaunt, the Raven Queen's visage paints a picture of liminality, marking her as the custodian of the mortal journey's profound transitions.

For many who weave their faith into the essence of the Traveler, he transcends the confines of mere fiction. As the divine embodiment of chaos, his influence extends beyond the realms of myth, intertwining with the unpredictable nature of the Feywild. To those attuned to his whimsical energy, the Traveler becomes more than a fantastical entity. As a seasoned pilgrim in the realms of mysticism and pagan spirituality, my journey began in 1981, a time when the veils between worlds beckoned with whispers of ancient wisdom. Over the years, I delved into the sacred teachings of Alexandrian and Gardnerian Wicca, finding solace and enlightenment within their traditions. My thirst for knowledge led me to traverse the diverse landscapes of non-traditional covens, circles, and esoteric groups, gathering the multifaceted gems of spiritual insight along the way.

In 2009, I laid the foundation stones of The Temple of the Dark Lotus, where seekers found sanctuary in their quest for deeper truths. With the turning of the cosmic wheel, on October 15th, 2023, I took a momentous leap, closing the temple's doors to initiate the birthing of a new sacred haven—the Raven's Wing Order. My heart beats in unison with the aspirations of this monastic order, devoted ardently to the Raven Queen and Her enigmatic consort, the Traveler. Every fiber of my being is dedicated to weaving the ethereal threads of imagination into the tangible tapestry of the Raven's Wing Order, channeling wisdom and practice into a living sanctuary for spiritual seekers and devoted souls.

In my spiritual journey spanning over three decades, I've traversed the ancient pathways of Egyptian deities, seeking solace and wisdom in their divine presence. However, as my awareness deepened regarding the detrimental impact of colonization on marginalized communities, I found myself grappling with the potential appropriation inherent in my practices. While my reverence for Anubis remains steadfast in the sanctum of my personal space, reconciling my cultural heritage became an imperative pursuit.

This exploration led me to confront a profound sense of disconnection from my ancestors, a void that continues to resonate within me. Faced with this existential chasm, I, a practitioner of magic, sought a radical solution: to forge my own spiritual path, not as a follower but as a creator.
